Educational and Homeschooling Expo 2009

Regretfully the Educational & Home Schooling Expo 2009 has been cancelled. Due to many unforeseen difficulties and uncertainties concerning the Danie Van Zyl Recreation Centre, we have been forced to make this decision. Plans are already afoot to secure Berario Recreation centre as a venue for next year. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment.

For your support, the DVD The Heart of Home Education is available. This 4 hour, 2 disc set consists of 20 interviews with English and Afrikaans speaking home educators. This book is a compilation of newsletters written over the years by Kathy le Cordeur to encourage fellow home educators. See the books section of www.homeschoolinfo.co.za for details. Kathy has also compiled a beginner's booklet available for only R25 + R10 p&p. Contact Kathy on kathylecordeur@telkomsa.net.

For new home education enquirers, an extra Info Day has been scheduled for 7th November, 9-12 am. This will be held in Kathy's home in Weltevreden Park so obviously numbers are limited. Although there will not be a variety of curricula for you to view, Kathy will endeavour to supply as much general information about home education as possible and to answer your questions.
